ACRE is excited to announce the ACRE Ukulele Group (AUG) launch, a new initiative to bring together ukulele enthusiasts of all skill levels. The group will kick off with Absolute Beginners lessons on Wednesday, 27th March, from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm in the Wellness Hub at 344 Oxford Road.

The AUG Absolute Beginners course is designed for those who have never played the ukulele before or have minimal experience. Led by experienced instructors, this 8-week course will provide participants with the foundational skills and knowledge to start their ukulele journey.

One of the best things about this beginners’ course is that it is entirely free of charge. ACRE believes in making music accessible to all, and this initiative reflects that philosophy. However, as a non-profit organisation, ACRE gratefully accepts donations to support its various community programs.

For those who don’t own a ukulele, fret not! Ukuleles will be available to borrow during the lessons, ensuring everyone can participate without barriers.

Spaces for the AUG Absolute Beginners course are limited, so if you are interested in joining, it is recommended that you sign up as soon as possible. To reserve your spot, please get in touch with ACRE by emailing info@acre-reading.org. Don’t miss this chance to learn a new instrument and connect with fellow music lovers in a friendly and supportive environment.

The ACRE Ukulele Group (AUG) is an exciting addition to ACRE’s lineup of community programs, aiming to bring people together through the joy of music. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some ukulele experience, AUG offers a welcoming space for all to learn, practice, and share their love for this charming instrument.

Join ACRE’s AUG and let the ukulele strumming begin!
