This role is part of the Ethnically Diverse Communities Project, delivered by the ACRE to strengthen inclusion, health, and wellbeing across Reading’s diverse communities. Working with local organisations, community leaders, and health partners, the project aims to build capacity, promote culturally sensitive engagement, and improve access to wellbeing services for underrepresented groups.

The Project Coordinator will lead, plan, and oversee the delivery of the project, ensuring activities run smoothly, partnerships thrive, and outcomes are met. You will play a key role in connecting ACRE with community stakeholders, supporting outreach efforts, and ensuring the project reflects the needs and voices of Reading’s ethnically diverse communities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Experience in project coordination or community programme management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of Reading’s diverse communities and their needs.
• Proven ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate activities effectively.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively.

Hours of work: 1.0 FTE (28 hours per week)
Contract: 1-year fixed-term, with possible extension
